ABOUT LIONS CLUB KUALA LUMPUR BANGSAR

The community of Bangsar includes a melting pot of cosmopolitan groups comprising of affluent expatriates, urban professionals and local discerning residents; thus becoming one of the trendiest place to be seen in KL with a mushrooming of exclusive upscale restaurants, 24-hour mamak shops as well as outlets offering health and beauty services.

Lions Club Kuala Lumpur Bangsar follows the aspiration of the International Association of Lions Clubs in the commitment to building a brighter future for the community whether by involving members in projects as in setting up old folks home, health awareness program and always embracing the motto "We Serve".

THE EMBLEM

Throughout the world, Lions are recognized by the emblem they wear on their lapels. It consists of a gold letter "L" on a circular purple field. Bordering this is a circular gold area with two lion profiles at either side facing away from the center. The word "Lions" appears at the top, and "International" at the bottom. Symbolically, the lions face past and future -- proud of the past and confident of the future. Lions wear their emblem with pride.
